Iphone 3g - Iphone 4!?
About 2 months before the iphone 4 came out i got my first iphone ( iphone 3g ) and i seem it to be really pointless for me to buy a what £350? £400 pound phone when they have just updated it. so i was just wondering if there was some way to trade in my iphone 3g for a iphone 4 for maybe around £70 - £100 as i dont really want to buy a brand new one as its far to expensive thanks.ps: its a 8gb pay as you go if this makes any difference. I want to restore my iphone 4 to factory settings because i am going to sell it, but the firmware on it is 4.0.1. i want to keep it running 4.0.1, so when i restore it, and then connect it to itunes, will it upgrade to 4.0.2? is there a way i can choose for it to not be upgraded? does that make sense?basically i want to restore and get past the "connect to itunes " screen without it upgrading to the latest firmware. thanks for any help. Iphone Network: Vodafone. Internet Connectivity Issue?
I have an iphone 3gs.software version: 4.0.2pay as you go on vodafone.carrier: vodafone uk 7.1the problem is that i cannot connect to the internet when im out and about.theres no problem conncting to my home wifi... but as soon as i go out i cannot access facebook, email, itunes store.....etc.also i cant receive mms :s (how do i fix this? where can i d/ w the settings?)i have credit, £7, so that cant be the problem..according to the vodafone website my carrier settings are up to date... but then it says that their current provided carrier settings is 5.1. it 's too confusing.ok:ive got no clue where to download the settings for internet and mms.. after hours of searching.can anybody help me?any help is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance. I Have Problems Getting The Iphone 4.?
I went into o2 on the 6th of august asking to get the iphone 4 on contract. went through with all the details and they told me i had to pay a deposit of £300 as well as paying for the £209 i would of had to pay for the iphone on the plan i wanted because i didnt have a good credit rating..but didnt have a bad one either (never used the card as i turned 18 in june) so i turned it down. the next day (7th of august) i went into carphonewarehouse to see if the deposit would go down. which it did to £150. but i still did not want to pay the deposit. so instead of that they said they would put me on a one month contract on o2 (sim only) and only have to pay £10. and then at the end of the month i would be able to upgrade and not have to pay the deposit as i was already a customer. so hoping to be able to get my iphone i went back into the carphonewarehouse yesterday (4th sept) and they rang up o2 asking if i could upgrade 3 days earlier and they told me that infact i would have to wait untill feb2011 untill i could do so. is there any way round the deposit? i dont think it was fair that i was told i could have it in a month when infact i have to wait 7 months. i cant put it in anyone elses name if anyone suggests that. thanks for helping if you write a reply.
